Legend says on Mt. Olympus, the Gods grew giant hops larger than mortal men that tasted so wonderful, only the Gods were allowed to enjoy them. When Atlas learned the Gods were keeping their beloved hops a secret from mankind, he knew something had to be done. One night, as the Gods slumbered, Atlas carried the largest hop down to Earth so everyone could know the taste of heaven. Enraged by his defiance, the Gods banished Atlas to carry the weight of this world for all eternity, and now we Deadlift hops into the kettle to honor the gift Atlas gave to humankind. |  |
